Milad Khoreibani

I was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and relocated to Lebanon as a teen where I resided until moving to the US 8 years ago.

I met my partner, Blair Stanley, in Lebanon and together we decided to launch a brand in the US.

Experiencing life in diverse cultures, has given me a broad understanding of fashion, decor, architecture, color, visibility and has shaped my love of putting them together the way I see it.

I started my education at La Filiere francophone de droit at the Lebanese university of Beirut studying law , however my love of drawing , painting and fashion, compelled me to enroll and eventually graduate from Esmod (Ecole Superieur de la mode) with BA in fashion design and pattern making.

An internship for Maged Bou Tannous ,a well established fashion designer out of Lebanon, reinforced my love of this art, but what solidified my decision to pursue a career in fashion was the amazing responses I received from Elie Saab and Rabih Kayrouz during my final collection at Esmod.

I find inspiration from many things including current textile of the season, movies, theater and and cultural as well as political movements.

My partner and I launched a sportswear brand under his name Blair Stanley for 6 years and simultaneously were backed to develop a brand for a local production company.
Afterwards, I was fortunate enough to work briefly at Marchesa which re-acquainted me with the craft of handmade beadwork and delicate gown design.
I joined JS Group as an Assistant designer for David Meister until the opportunity to be a part of this team launching Flor et.al as a designer.

As far as personal philosophy in regard to designing any brand,I am a part of the team and collectively we develop the mood and aesthetic of the brand.

A quote from Alexander McQueen “When I design, I try to sell an image of a woman that I have in mind, a concept that changes dramatically each season” ,eloquently sums up my feelings as well.
